Ferd,

My reminder continued to pop up for several days after I completed the training. As long as it shows you completed I think you're good. They'll get that pesky reminder off eventually. :D

Ok, good.........I'll be patient:D

What are they going to do, not let me fly in DECEMBER??

Question about bidding for next month... I'm a line holder this month with carryover into December. It is almost 11 hours worth and I am considering bidding reserve for December. Does that 11 hours go on top of 70? I don't want to lose money by bidding reserve....

No it does not..you'll get credit for the days you worked, not the hours. I don't have the table handy but you might end up with one less day on reserve. Your RAW score will give you credit for the time you flew into Dec. Bid a schedule if you can, unless you want a 70 hr paycheck.

You check your distance learning paperwork in DBMS? The paperwork that you bring to the SIM Does it show up on there?

I agree. I have 250+ acres and am looking to buy the 600 next to mine. Working on getting some Natural gas wells and some more cows. That is my retirement plan. I hope to be able to do that a long time before I am 65.

No gas wells out West where I'm at, but we've got water rights which might be worth just as much as gas someday around here. My Dad runs about 1500 acres and none of my siblings want anything to do with it which is great as far as I'm concerned.

I stopped putting money into IRA's and my 401K a lot of years ago and now buy property with water rights....not sure how that will work out, but at least I've got something. If this career doesn't get back to what it was in the next 10 years, I'll be leaving at 45...if it does get back then I'll stay until I can make more farming or I get tired of flying.

Crud you are my age too! :D

I agree, I have bough up oil, and natural gas rights wherever I can find em.

1500 acres is nice. I am looking to take 600 acres off a corporations hands that can no longer build a dump near my land. Great price and in 10 years it will be worth a fortune.

Someone in records called and the disk I got in my box in LA isn't the Bridge Supplement. The Supplement is in the old NWA LMS and just auto updates.

The DBMS record still shows the course I did for CQ back in July. I'm still not real clear what the disk I just finished is, but they paid me for it so I'm happy:cool:.

That was all the info I got, they weren't sure if that meant the old scanners or just a basic pat down. Either way it's good news.

Mods please delete if this is considered SSI or a violation of any sort.

I think it might have been MEM where they offered me the end run but I've been flying so much I can't remember where I've been.
