I just called the MEM chief pilots office to get my SIDA paperwork started so I wouldn't have to endure the new screening proceedures, and was told that Uniformed Crews are exempt in MEM until next spring some time (March or April). That was all the info I got, they weren't sure if that meant the old scanners or just a basic pat down. Either way it's good news.

Mods please delete if this is considered SSI or a violation of any sort.

Of course, there's always the boat school!

Oh, that's good to know, my kids can go to Harvard for free because we'll never make more than $200K here. :D

anybody else having trouble with the optional life insurance selection on the enrollment site? Every time I select any change whether or up or down it says "you're not eligible to use this feature".

I had to call and get them to do it over the phone and they changed it on the spot. Some sort of computer glitch.

Kind of like the one that keeps me being paid even though I never seem to fly... until today where they actually made me fly. Hence the late night posts.

Does the latest and greatest thread keep reloading on anyone else's computer? Its only this thread. I have to time it just right and press the little red X to get it to stop.

On the DALPA forums others are having the same problem, so it's not just you. The solution? Just what you did - call and they'll do it over the problem. Some IT glitch apparently... which is odd, because this is Delta and we're right on top of IT aren't we?

Not SSI at all. I checked. It is up to the local FSD. Ergo, hit and miss.

I am sure they are smart, but by the time they get to school my wife and I will be well over 200K.

Boat school is always an option. I was thinking University of Texas but it is up to the kiddos, maybe :D

Question about bidding for next month... I'm a line holder this month with carryover into December. It is almost 11 hours worth and I am considering bidding reserve for December. Does that 11 hours go on top of 70? I don't want to lose money by bidding reserve....

Hey, speaking of computer glitches.....................

Anyone having problems logging completion of the RTGS Bridge Supplement Training? I've got a completion code and entered it but I keep getting the popup. It's even showing on my timecard.

No one in ATL to answer a phone I guess. Called the CPSC who forwarded me to records where I left a message but no one returned the call. Also called the fleet number at the bottom of the letter, left a message with two different people but again no call back.

I've got a perfectly good completion code..........not that it's doing me any good.:o:D

Ferd,

My reminder continued to pop up for several days after I completed the training. As long as it shows you completed I think you're good. They'll get that pesky reminder off eventually. :D
