Not that it's happened much, but it can, and I wouldn't want to risk my job. I think making to DTW on long call with 3 Pinnacle RJs a day is a serious gamble. I'm working with 14 flights - mostly mainline flights where I can reserve the jumpseat on those mainline flights.

Everyone who commutes on reserve has a "witching hour." I was hoping the time change and living in AZ (no DST) would help a little; not one bit. I plan on being gone a lot as I have to double to get to MSP.

Yup. I would not be comfortable in that situation.
Better to have a crash pad until you can hold a line. Especially on probation.

Maybe it's different internationally, but seeing flight crews in full uniform in the hotel lobby or on the shuttle is somewhat of a giveaway.
