I have about 14 flights between LGA and JFK, to work with, and there are times in the evening where it is critical when a trip gets assigned. I do have ways to make it in if they call at 9pm, but it's a Planes, Trains and Automobiles scenario to make it for a 9am show.
Not that it's happened much, but it can, and I wouldn't want to risk my job. I think making to DTW on long call with 3 Pinnacle RJs a day is a serious gamble. I'm working with 14 flights - mostly mainline flights where I can reserve the jumpseat on those mainline flights. |

Better to have a crash pad until you can hold a line. Especially on probation. |
