So if you are on Mil Leave you get profit sharing based on "deemed" income for the year, would that be at the rate you were at prior to departing and min guarentee. If on sick leave you would get profit sharing based on 240hrs a year which is you max allowable sick leave in a year?
I don't think "Deemed" is the correct term. Like someone else said it's based on what is on your W-2 for 2010. It's not like the 401K which is based off the pay rate for the person above and below you in a military leave situation or the DC plan that uses the average of the pilots' active pay in the 12 months immediately preceding the military leave multiplied by the individual's applicable defined contribution percentage. |

It's abbreviation for TOGA LK (lock), it's an FMA annunciation on Airbus equipment that the thrust management system has applied TOGA in response to alpha floor protection. I picked it bc it is analogous to the industry being at (hopefully) the lowest level and guys (employees and management) working at their best to restore the profession and the industry.

Profit Sharing eligible income is defined in the "annual compensation" definition of section 3. Profit sharing is paid on sick pay. It is not paid on disability payments.
This is straight from the PWA: “Annual compensation” for purposes of the profit sharing plan, means an employee’s gross earnings during the profit sharing plan year, including any sick and vacation pay (whether paid by the Company or from a disability and survivor trust), but excluding: a) expense reimbursements, b) expense allowances, c) income required to be imputed to the employee for any reason pursuant to federal, state or local law, d) profit sharing awards, e) earnings from any other incentive compensation program, f) Company contributions to a retirement plan, g) disability payments, h) income from the grant, vesting, exercise or sale of Delta stock or Delta stock options, i) income relating to, or resulting from, bankruptcy claims, notes, or other securities, j) medical plan payments and k) severance payments. In addition, annual compensation for the purposes of the profit sharing plan includes pilot furlough pay. How much did we pay to have this in our contract? |

AMR was the first airline that the DOJ went after over USERRA violations. Its nice to see that Delta strives to take care of our heros in such contrast.

So we have had two engine failures recently right? One on a 757 diverted into Ireland, and this 767. Will that impair our ETOPS? I know different engines, but just wondering.

I was wondering the same thing. How many are we allowed to have again? Is it a percentage or event based thing?

At some point while I was furloughed (around 2004-2005ish) NWA was cancelling a bunch of flights for lack of crews (imagine that.) They had the nerve to make gate announcements blaming the cancellations on the large number of pilots that were on military leave! Un-freakin' believable! They got some angry calls from the Reserve Officer's Association over that, and the announcements stopped pretty quickly.
