The pass they threw with 9 sec left, thanks to poor defensive play calling, to be in position to kick was unbelievable. Reminded me of the Giants and Patriots SB as Brady almost pulled that off with Moss but the db nailed the coverage. But I was so confused on the FG, it was forever before they said no good, it was wierd.

Hi Guys, Swap with the Pot question. A trip showed up in open time for next month and I want it. I used swap with the pot and requested the trip and to drop a carry-out trip that starts on the 29th. It say it is legal on the rules check thingy, any problems on it being a carry-out over New Years day? Also when do they award the swap trips? Thanks first time player.....:o

Your problem is going to be getting rid of your cary out trip, they won't allow you to drop it until they have run the Jan. bids and see what kind of reserve coverage they have on New Year's Day and the next few days, by then the trip you want will be gone.

Yeah, it Sucks, but that's the way they do it...

I think they only look at the beginning date of the trip you are dropping and it will come down to whether they have more reserves available than reserves required on the 29th. But I've been on reserve for 3 1/2 years... so I'm not real current on this stuff. Anyway, hope it helps... and I'm sure someone else will chime in if I got it wrong.

Actually I don't think this is the case. I put in a request for a Swap with the pot 5 day for a 5 day on the exact same days that carried over into Jan and it was approved on the first PCS run on the 20th. It appears they only look at coverage for the days in December.

No, I'm not wrong, you were swapping the exact same days, that's why yours got swapped, he is trying to dump a cary out trip to pick up a trip fully in Dec. and they will NOT drop a cary out trip until they see the reserve manning for Jan. I too have a Dec. 29 cary out I'm trying to drop to pick up fully in Dec, but it won't happen until Dec. 20th at the earliest, after the first PCS run for Jan.

Cary out trips are like AIDS, you'll die with them...

That game was NUTS!! I wouldn't want to be the kicker either, but looks to me like the defense blew it too. Had they done their job the kicker would've never been in that position.
