Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

If they call you through the computer system were it pulls your number via one of the automated options it always shows unknown caller. The system is not compatible with caller ID. If they call you from one of the land line phones it will show up as Delta.

I would say 4 out of 5 reroutes I have been given over the years were trip improvements. Now and then you do get a really bad reroute but overall it has been in my favor by a huge margin.

Ditto. The majority of my reroutes over the years have been neutral or good deals.

I missed anything said about iPad for Delta. Any news on this? I just looked at the info on the Jepp iPad app and it is really nice. Throw the FOM and Vol 1 and Vol 2 on there and it would be pretty coool, probably throw everything on there actually. Save on more weight wouldn't it? Jepp site doesn't say anything about the Airway manual, but I am sure that could be integrated pretty quickly. I would like to wait till iPad 2 comes out, but beggers can't be choosy.

Ah, the Holidome. Nothing like rolling into SDF at 7am on a Saturday morning, after an all night freight trip. Then trying to sleep as the kids "enjoyed" the Holidome.
