Just do what a lot of guys are doing... the 'Velcro conversion' with your jacket and never have that trouble again. The gold buttons are sewn on the front and two velcro strips placed inside. It looks clean and makes life easy. Also, if you do pack on that 40lbs... velcro is cheap.

Johnso, you can get them from the uniform places just off Va Ave. I had the same thing happen, called them, and they overnighted me some. Also, I took my jacket in to a seamstress and she put some sort of fishing line reinforcement thing inside the jacket. Damn near impossible to lose them now.

Well, if I gain 40 pounds or so, that might do it.:o

Anybody know where we can get replacement buttons for our blazers? I'm down one. It went missing in action yesterday, so now my blazer has 5 buttons. Looks silly. :(

If you're in "Snowtown or Motown", check in the Stopover Store. In the ATL, Crew Outfitters. They will almost certainly be able to help you and you won't have to pay any shipping.

BTW, Abbotts in the ATL will adjust your uni up or down (40 pounds) for as long as you are in their stuff.

Thanks Ferd - that was the first thing I tried, unfortunately, no-one was around today... on to plan B....

Called the Duty Pilot and he gave me another # to try...

They also sell them in the A Spine Crew Store next to our ATL A Concourse Crew Lounge. They will also sew them on, on site while you wait.

No kidding.......

Thanks ACL. :)
