Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Denny, interesting language in 12D where it talks about the MAXIMUM Scheduled duty day, but you can go above the MAXIMUM scheduled duty time

A pilot will not be rerouted or required to be on duty more than two hours beyond his applicable maximum scheduled duty time Section 12 D.

Its like the glass is completely full, but we can try and pour more into it!

It's one of those maximums that's not really a maximum until it's the maximum!:D

Watch out, do not let them talk you into DH'ing home after the 15 hours if you don't want to. You can refuse to go over 15 hours and no questions should be asked..........per the contract quote from one of my previous posts.

If you do "Time Out" they can take your day and move it to the next avail day. No extra pay will be involved. They can even do this with a * day.

Sorry. Seemed like you were implying that it's NWA's fault the DC9's are being parked. BK screwed a lot of people. :mad:
