Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Electricity was being restored late Monday morning to several Delta Air Lines gates at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, several hours after half of Concourse B lost power.
The power outage resulted in delays and some cancellations Monday as the last of the Thanksgiving fliers mixed with the normal influx of business travelers.
The power went out to about half of Concourse B shortly after 5 a.m., impacting 18 of the airport's 199 gates.
"The power is now being restored and operations are returning to normal," airport spokeswoman Katena Carvajales said in an 11:45 a.m. e-mail.
Delta spokesman Anthony Black told the AJC that Delta canceled about two dozen flights and shifted flights originally assigned to the affected gates to other gates.
Black said the airline held some arriving flights on the ground in other cities until 9 a.m. At 10 a.m., flights were arriving on a delayed basis. Those delays ranged from a few minutes to up to an hour, he said.
The cause of the outage has not been determined.
Other than the power outage, airport spokesman John Kennedy said things were running smoothly at the airport on one of the year's busier travel days.

We had one of those a few years back after there was a fire in one of the equipment rooms.

I'm guessing that this is the first time EVER that these two things have ever been uttered in the same sentence.....

Isn't it heart warming to see how fast the DOT is acting on our China request as compared to AA & UAL?

Yea, like these!
(In this spot, imagine a Google Image of trash bags on the driveway, by the curb. Trusted to fly scores of people and a multi-million dollar aircraft, over seas, but not cleared to post a picture. Go Figure!???? But hey, it's free!)

Rough:
Do what you can to make the game. To say it's 'The Grand Daddy' is putting it mildly. Saw the ASU/OSU game in '96 with 'Jake the Snake' leading the Sun Devils, and we gave the game away. (Missed ASU's debut-victory against Mihigan while 'Defending Freedom" and flying for the Navy.)
Float building, New Year's Eve, parade, and FOOTBALL?
GO!
Good Luck and Enjoy.
Hypothetical Bank question
You are on 1st year Dc9 F/O pay and deposit 60 hours into your bank for the year. Can you then withdraw that 60 hours when your a 744/777 Capt at max payrate? Obviously it might take some time to get to this point but was wondering if this is very common.
Thanks.
