Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Speculation. Just connecting the dots. 76 seat jet is under performing (as usual), they have DCI contracts that they need to fill. They will want to make money, or lose less with them, so I just see them asking for relief to allow bigger jets, or more seats in the current jets.

I can tell you where I stand. If anyone DALPA even for one second lets the question come across their lips to ask us to let more seats in the CRJ or ERJ for the regionals...I will shove a SH1t sandwhich in there so fast it will make their head spin.
Any jet bigger than the CRJ 900 or the EMB 175 is main line period. Without giving ANYTHING UP FOR IT! In fact the fight isn't going to start on management's field with "hey lets talk about the E-jets for our regionals". NO NO my friend there is nothing to talk about there except how much you will be paying the mainline guys to fly it.
We will start with lets talk about the EMB 175 coming to mainline.

Maybe we'll allow additional outsourcing of our jobs in return for another no-furlough clause?
Why should I give something up in my career just to help a F/O upgrade sooner?

I think it was only for the MD88 and 765 since they're the only ones on the new system. They were automated calls reminding you to bid in the new system and that your old reoccuring bid wouldn't count.

Anybody think this could have an adverse effect on labor relations at DAL in the near future:
Bold emphasis mine.

They don't want more seats in the current jets. If they did they would have asked for it in the 1113 C process when they had us by the balls. I would actually be surprised if they even asked for a bigger aircraft at DCI. They are quite happy with the present situation.

I can tell you that the 76 seat jet is not doing as well as they would like.
The 50's can be used to put the 100 million dollar belt system on a full loop between C and the baggage claim. (This one is pure genius)
Spent 100 million and it only goes one way. For less than 10 million more it could have gone back to baggage claim. Now we have our tug guys driving bags to bag claim and coming back empty. ****!
Had a buddy of mine tell me that one this AM, and all I could do is shake my head.
