If you look in January you'll see as many as 55-60 pilots on reserve per day but keep in mind that is January. I bid to reserve, well in most months I 'bid' down, and typically I fly 6-8 days a month or at the most 10 and it'd be more but a majority of SC trips seem to go to WS's especially 1-2 day stuff.

But ATL 88B at 505 pilots is the 2nd largest category in the system and is only behind the international category of ATL 7ER B which is 530. It didn't take much to wipe out the list on Christmas and IROPS can clean this category out as there are a lot of flights that have to be covered.

FWIW, 60% of this category are pre-9/11 FDAL hires.

The aircraft will be flown by SkyWest Airlines under the Delta Connection banner.
SkyWest Airlines and its sister airline, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, currently operate 406 CRJ200, CRJ700 and CRJ900 regional jets.
Including this announcement, Bombardier has taken firm orders around the world for 1,713 CRJ Series aircraft as of Oct. 31.
