'Jetiquette' campaign takes off for nonrev travel

As the peak summer travel season gets under way, Delta is launching a new initiative this week called “Jetiquette” to remind and educate nonrev travelers about the appropriate dress and demeanor when flying. All of the Jetiquette materials are available on the Pass Travel site on DeltaNet as well as on Delta’s Extranet site so buddy pass riders can access it.

The Jetiquette initiative takes a humorous approach to a serious subject: projecting a positive image when traveling as a nonrev.

Coming in 2022, 'Gatiquette'

We have a non rev dress policy?

To use the baseball analogy, I would say that what I'm doing with the options is more like hitting singles very consistently and almost never striking out. I'm using them simply to create consistent cash flow and manage risk, not to speculate on stock price or option price.

And for tsquare - I spend WAY more time here on APC than I do on managing my accounts! :D

"Half the people you know are below average." :)
A single strategy works until...it doesn't work as the other team brings in their Cy Young winner. Every option strategy speculates on stock price. In any case, good luck.

Yep, it used to be very restrictive. No denim, only collared shirts, etc. Its loosened up quite a bit over the last few years.

Well, I wouldn't really say that about what I'm doing. In six years of doing it (and some really up and down market conditions), it's been real consistent for me. No home runs (and no strike outs)... just good consistent income at the desired percentage of stake, which is the objective. I'm only selling options (covered calls and some cash secured puts), not buying them. And I'm not doing it in a way where I win or lose depending on what the stock or option prices do. So unless the options market dries up where nobody wants to buy them anymore, I don't see an opportunity for any "Cy Young winners" to derail me.

But, hey, different strokes for different folks. Good luck to you too. :)

No you cannot pick up trips. All you can do is yellow to ALV+15 or max pickup (the same number btw) After that you cannot pick anything up but an IA or a GS. You still are a reserve pilot, and reserve pilots cannot pick up trips out of the Open Time Pot or the Swap Board.

After ALV you will not be shown on the reserve list unless you have a YS in by reducing your RAW 15 pts.

I time out all of the time, and after I you get within two hrs of ALV you are done without a YS in. I will fly as close as I can to ALV+15 and then enjoy a week vacation at the end of each month. It works well, and hope it continues.

On the other hand, I haven't flown in a month.;)

Lucky you. I am up near ALV+15 already, but I prefer to work my tail off than sit on SC not getting credit for that time.
