Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Which is about how long it will take us to take new NB deliveries. I don't know why anybody is surprised by this. Our contract allows for 255 large RJs. So they hit the cap ASAP(fuel is on the rise)then have the freedom to park the DC9's without having to reduce the number of large RJs thanks to the wonderful little nugget in our contract that says 'once the number of 76 seaters has been established, it will not be reduced'.
Ergo my point. It is just em pesky dots again!

Anyone know if we are stopping the silly MD90 mod of pulling out the rear galley? I mean, ONE galley for 160 people all the way in the front of the airplane. That's just silly IMO. Let's scrap that mod & get these things online.

When will the next memo come out that those on the DC-9 are frozen, can't bid off, and will hold the pay rate of which they can bid into? Doesn't seem like they are thinking of moving any DC-9 bases.

Good idea. A FA friend just told me our HVC (FC) are not happy about all the traffic going thru FC. The FA's are telling them to write the company.

Another issue FA's are running into is room to store trash. With only ONE galley on a 4 hour flight from MSP to the West Coast it's easy to overfill the trash cart in a short time. A FA told me on one flight the FA's had to close off a LAV so they could keep bags of trash in the LAV. This is very likely since most pax in coach bring their own food.
