Very interesting.

Now we all know that politicians need their feet held to the fire to ensure they actually do what they say, but this is a great written statement from T.T. We've still heard NOTHING yet from the F/O rep.

Carl

At the lower end of his promise, he's saying he might vote for a contract that doesn't enhance Section 1, as long as it doesn't make it worse. At the upper end of his promise, there aren't any specifics of what his work on Section 1 would yield.

I agree it's a positive affirmation, but it's not exactly earth-shattering. Do you know any reps that don't agree with that position?

Yes, interesting. It was a "local" resolution directing the LEC reps to very specific action. The same kind of resolution that forced the publishing of scope data in Council 44.

Since it directs the LEC reps, well, directly, to action, there is no way for the MEC to bury or "receive" it.

Now, I know that doesn't sound right, and he said planes, not "crews". Maybe Delta will move 9's and 320's to ATL and put only Md90s in MEM. It was a quick conversation, and I initially said "you mean in MSP, right?". And he said MEM. Just a rumor.

Just to be clear, we don't have any MD90 only categories. They are all MD88 categories with pilots who happen to be also qualified on the 90 (and, once ATL gets done becomming 90 qualed - if they arent already - all 88 pilots will be 90 qualified). So the roumer of a base chief pilot mentioning an "MD90" category in MEM doesn't seem to hold much water.

Now if he had said there were going to be 45 MD88's in MEM, that would be different story

FYI, A bunch of "A" bid awards are now posted

Is there an iCrew Max app for Android? I've read through some of the posts on here and some people were talking about it but I haven't seen any links. I have the iCrew Max add on for my PC but can't find the mobile app. Any ideas?

They might say it, but how many actually have the stones to write it down, sign it, and send it out to the membership unsolicited?

I know, I fly MD88s out of ATL. This 320 FO I knew from the past came up to me and provided that rumor. Yes, I know it would be an MD88 category out of MEM, but he stated that he heard 45 MD90s would be going to MEM. It sounded strange, but I posted it, as a rumor. I NEVER SAID there was going to be an MD90 category in MEM. Just that 45 were supposedly headed that way. We are getting a lot more MD90s in the near future, so that rumor has merrit. Maybe Delta will fly a lot of them from MEM to all points, and that may mean an MD88 pilot base there.

There will not be 45 MD-90s in MEM. There may be 45 M88 Capts/FOs, but even that is suspect.
