I think he is referring to the top. That's more shape IMO. :D

Actually though, I was referring to mentioning to the chick in the pic that I wondered who her surgeon was....

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you were saying that you were afraid of ALPA approaching the company for a mid-contract partial pay restoration to correct our current bankruptcy/emergency pay.

Two questions for the conoscenti:

When do when start getting 5 RAW points for sitting a day of Short Call?

Will the proposed FAR rest rules reduce our Int'l Short Call from 24 hours to something less? It is my understanding that UAL currently has a 15 hour Int'l Short call.

Thanks

I'm not sure the RAW credit for SC has actually been agreed to. It's just been suggested to the SOT, & they've decided to pursue it. That's how I interpreted the latest email from them.

And I do think the 24 hr SC will go away with the new FTDT regs.

Thanks johnso, kinda what I figured. 24 hour SC must be brutal.

Hi Everyone,

While I don't know most of you personally it still feels like the old Delta Family I heard about when I was first hired. My wife is undergoing a kidney transplant tomorrow (Tuesday) so if you have a chance say a little prayer for us.

Done. And not just a little prayer!

I was pondering this D-0 thingie and how best to identify the rough spots and track them. Different door switches that report separate times was a great idea but then I remembered a long lost item from the past.

At the OLD terminal in DTW, we used to get push clearance over ACARS. When they installed it, it really cut down on the radio traffic. It wasn't moved to the new DTW terminal because it was too expensive to move (so Delete Pete told me one time when I flew with him).

So, if there was an e-record of:
Cabin door closed
Push request sent
Push clearance received

Beacon on/Breakes released
Aircraft moved

I think the powers that be would have a much better picture of whats going on.

Anyway, just throwing it out as a long range solution as we get a fancier system.

The 24 hr RES for domestic and intl' went away at FedEx several years ago.......Local POI thought it was a clear rest violation,etc......might be worth a call MEC to MEC.

Regards.....
