Travelnet is showing there is a Buddy Pass Embargo between January 1-3, 2011, so does that mean any and all pass travel that day is not allowed or is just buddy passes?
(i.e. Basically can my wife and I still non-rev travel using our pass benefits?)

You and your family can go. You just can't take your BFF, whatever that is.

If you're leaving BFF with your BFF to go to the BFF just know because of the snow you might be better off heading off to watch the BFF or maybe stay home and just hang out on the BFF?

BFF- Western Nebraska Airport
BFF- Best Friend Forever
BFF- Boston Film Festival
BFF- Bangladesh Football Federation

It means that S4 pass riders will not be allowed to activate for standby travel. They can list but when they get to the airport they cannot activate.

This also holds true for anyone traveling on a itinerary that starts before the 1st. For example, you travel ATL-AMS on the 31st, then want to go AMS-BOM on the first. Even though your travel started on the 31st, you will be parked in AMS until the 4th.

If there is a change of a S4 getting stuck the best course of action is for them to buy a ticket. The agents can do nothing for these riders but quite a fare and where the nearest hotel is. There is no workaround in the computer!

Appreciate it, actually trying to hop on a Pinnacle flight, hoping the Travelnet Load Information is accurate and doesn't change substantially.

Haven't traveled as a non-rev in our connection carriers, but I'm guessing our priority is a little lower than on mainline.

We are S3C on non-wholly owned carriers. I have found that it tends to be a non issue.

It can be a huge issue on Skywest, as OO employees travel as S3. They show up in date-of-hire order on the standby list then ahead of all S3Cs on the airport standby list. Try ORD-SLC sometime.

Gentlemen,

What's the most reliable way to figure out what the REAL loads are for a flight? I just convinced myself wait and to take a flight in the morning instead of the last flight out tonight, only to check back and find out that it went out with close to 40 open seats. It showed that it was full ALL DAY.

Wait until after the flight departs.. then go to TravelNet. And even that is suspect.

That is true. They are all commuting to their ORD base. I was thinking of ATL and DTW.
