The planes usually just go back to the respective hub as a turn. And I thought having 9 or 10 types of planes was an asset, so marketing could find the exact plane that was perfect for a particular route? One size doesn't always fit all. (I knew that in college)
Maybe our hubs are more efficient because we feed our operation. Therefore we are more efficient and deserve more than our southwest brotha's. |

Contract 2012 should be easy for ALPA negotiators. SWAPA has done all the work already...throw their contract on the table and adjust the rates for a/c bigger than a 737...done!

I doubt your going to get many pilots to sign on to a cut in retirement. There are also a lot of other areas where there contract is very different from ours. Some things are better and some are worse. I don't think however overall their contract would work for the company or the pilots in our system. The bottom 1000 pilots in our list might be the ones who really don't like the result.
Let's not get too specific now:rolleyes: |

SWA 737 401k 9.3%x210=19.53/hr Wow, that 50 cents per block hr really adds up. $500 per year? You'd throw away $40K in pay for that $500? Just SWA's average profit sharing exceeds our 401k match (10%x210 = $21/hr). |
Anyone know what airline EV is. I'm on a crappy trip that has two of the four legs on New Years day as a deadhead. IE: I fly a leg, DH a leg, fly a leg and DH on EVxxxx. First thought was EVA, but I am pretty sure they don't fly to BHM.

I think that is ASA. ACL will know.
