Any Ideas on how many guys retired in 2010? By the info I got last summer on 12 or so were turning 65.

I've been looking at the bid packets and daily trip assignments on I crew and notice that the 73N, A320, and M88/90 trips all look the same now. 73N's going to Grand Rapids and 90's going to LAS. I also saw a 320 trip get assigned last week with 5 legs on one of the days and 4 legs on most of the rest. Ouch.

Is this a fluke, or has it been this way for a while?

Do guys still wear the uniform jacket down to South America this time of the year or is time yet to leave it behind?

Dude it is summer/fall. I have not worn it down there. Not required either.

Um it is that way on the 7ER Domestic too. That is just the way DAL rolls.

The 320 trips are NOTHING like NWA used to build. 5 legs days, 9 hour overnights, 12 hours of rest to a redeye, 24 hours of rest to a redeye then 11 hours of rest for 1 leg to finish the trip(so you go to the hotel & then report again on the same calendar day).....you don't see anymore 8 leg 28 hour 5 days like NWA used to build. :(

And wait to you see the LGA-BOS shuttle trips!

5 legs on the 320 is easier then 5 legs on the DC9. :)

Although i was reading on the 747 when it was with Continental back in the 70s. Long before Lorenzo and the strike and Texans took over. :D So intriguing. I actually got it from Wiki, but they have their sources listed.

I guess it was interesting to me because I never knew Continental was ever any good.

Sigh...noobs...

Continental under Bob Six was a complete class act. His wife, Audrey Meadows, whom you may have heard of, oversaw the inflight service.

Mr. Six was right up there with Tripp, Patterson, Frye and CR Smith.
