Definitely a fluke (or a change in philosophy) for the 73N. Normally, one or maximum two legs per day since we're TRANSCON guys. I think I've flown three or four legs in a day only a handful of times. That might be changing but I haven't seen it yet.

I just did a three leg day that went into a min crew rest layover before the last day of two legs. DTW-FLL-DTW-RDU in rest to ATL-JFk.

Maybe shadow lines was the wrong memory item to recall in this example. Thanks |
Isn't the Set Condition Max very dangerous? Doesn't it violate some of your preferences in order to build you the biggest line possible?

Interesting. I wonder where it will come out of? Maybe we could do another city in China, you know, just to help out. HNL - CAN - HNL on the ER? I don't know about it supporting daily service, but.............
China Eastern examining scheduled Honolulu service March 4, 2011 Future SkyTeam member China Eastern has petitioned the Chinese government to begin regularly scheduled nonstop service from China to Honolulu, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. China Eastern recently operated three charter flights from China to Honolulu during the Chinese New Year holidays that were sold out in just 14 days, according to the story. Michael Merner, a Hawaii Tourism official said, “Hawaii is outperforming all other major overseas destinations in the China market.” Merner added there was a 57% uptick in Chinese travel to Hawaii last year as a result of easier visa processing for Chinese citizens. Pending Chinese government approval, China Eastern would also have to secure permission from the U.S. Department of Transportation, according to the article. |
