Got a buddy pass question for everybody...
When booking a connecting flight, can you book a ticket using co-terminal airports? For example, I have a friend using a pass from ORD - JFK - AMM. If the flights sell out to JFK, can I book the pass ORD - LGA and JFK - AMM? The Shuttle runs between ORD and LGA, so it's much easier than trying to get on one of the four RJ's to JFK. I think the computer will let me book the pass this way, but I don't want to get into trouble. Thanks! |

JP Morgan Conference in one minute... under "webcasts" in "Investor Relations" (Delta.com>About Delta>).

Bastian says in his introductory remarks the next AE will be HUGE.

Maybe I made that up:
"...J.P. Morgan Aviation, Transportation & Defense Conference This presentation has not yet begun. Please check back at the scheduled time..." |

I'm hoping that someone asks crew resources (or whatever their title is) that exact question during this upcoming round of base visits. The accelerated retirement of the -9 is known and when that is gone, that only leaves the little bus in MEM. So, will they keep the base open for only one small category or will they throw an 88/90 base in there to replace the capacity flown by the MEM DC9 pilot jobs? I think it to be a perfectly fair question to be asking.
I'm hoping for a MEM88 base too. |
You can run through the slides to see what's ahead.
Looks like Q2 capacity -2% instead of +2% as originally planned. Includes -15-20% Japan through May, but the revised plan still will be +5% vs. +13% Japan thereafter. Atlantic cut back 4%. ...and -25% MEM. |
