Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I might get back in below $6 a share. I'm going to wait for a fairly long term (60 day) bottom.

Japanese got work to do. No one is going on vacation any time soon.

Amazing stories about the work ethic of those on the Japan side of our team. Country wrecked, nu'Kle'ear (where's GW when you need him?) fall out and surely issues in every family, yet these folks showed up for work and got the job done. Tip of the Hat to them and they remain in our prayers.

As far as Atlantic problems....didn't we hear in the lounge visits that ticket price increases lag 3-6 months on international ops? Because of this we were told to expect 1Q and 2Q to be poor on the international side and the price increases would kick in the 3Q. Not really a surprise.

I'm not beating you up as I agree with you completely. But when have you ever heard DAL management name an LCC in their list of "competitive set" airlines? They don't even acknowledge them.
