This is manageable. You need to be aggressive with APU/pack usage, and once the sun comes up, you cannot let the cabin get warm.

If the Douglas jets aren't warmly recieved because their hot and miserable with a small cross section then I can't imagine how the 757 and 737 are received. Per seat they're not very wide at all with lots more middle seats and packs may work better but they've also got to be turned on prior to 5 min to go and not shutoff with the engines.

Flew in a 319 recently and the MD-88 is more enjoyable.

I counted 12.

Several about MEC FPL disclosure (one was an LEC resolution)
One about a committee member recall
One about getting rid of alcohol at MEC meetings
Several more about changes to pay/DHing/etc

Good to see people involved.

Man, plan on staying for the afternoon.

ACL,

Please elaborate...

The small Airbii don't have any entertainment systems, but in my experience, they are significantly nicer in terms of passenger comfort.

No kidding. If I'm gonna ride in any plane in the fleet without IFE, I want to ride on fifi.

Um let's put it this way, I could not get comfortable in the sucker. The seats were very close together. Literally I could not get to my seat without using putting one leg on the seat pans themselves.

It does have a wider cross section, but the 88 has more leg room. The seats themselves are better made though. Overall a better design, but man that back end wags more than a 757/767. Ugh.

Thanks Ferd!

Mrs. Ferd. I'm just playing around. :p

Rats, so the candy trick is common knowledge? :D

Old Memphis trick for new FAs, have the Capt complain he didn't want decaf. When she says it's real coffee, have him hold the mic over his cup while the FO hits the TCAS test. Then convince her that it said "decaf test pass".

The senior mommas just roll their eyes, but I think they thought it was funny too!

Ferd <----- way too much time to kill after preflights:eek:
