Not happening. If you have done ALPA work you understand that you are paid a daily perdiem, expenses to a certain allowable amount, or the association covers a meal when they cater it. You cannot layer it, Concur will not allow it an neither will our Treasurer. That is a misnomer.

On the drink issue: If you have pilots start buying their own they they will expense them and the cost goes up. The current way is cheaper. As someone previously said, it is paid out of the each attendees allowance. (Perception v reality)

I don't most line holders fill up almost every month, and or GS a trip to bring total credit will above ALV +15. Heck as a reservist, I have been hitting ALV +15 almost every month for the last year. Most of this on 15 days of work.

This trend continues for a period of time... Now, those guys that dropped their trips aren't gonna just sit home and not fly for 30 hours a month are they? they are gonna pick up trips from open time that are more suited to their desires... So what happens when DAL re calculated the number of reserves required? Hey.. we got all these reserves sitting around doing nothing.. we don't need any additional manning. That and the fact that greenslips are gonna dry up because when trips don't get dropped into open time because some other guy is flying them.. they won't go out as a GS... This is a concession guys... Sorry, but it is. It doesn't force the company to fix the abortion we call the reserve system, and we bail out the manning again. Copme to council 66 LEC meeting next week.. If I can make it, it's gonna be a barn burner.

Unfortunately I cannot attend the 66 meeting. Your post seems a little counter intuitive. Are you concerned about reserve staffing hence more pilots or are you concerned about greenslipping which promotes more overtime = less pilots?????

as all pilots fly both models. Methinks the flying for the 330 out of atl is starting to look unattractive except for 2 or 3 destinations.

The deep SA flying is great. Africa not so much. These base conversions were off the table and as of last week, seemed to be back on. Got to love ADD thinking. That said, if we are pulling block hrs, now is a good time for a training footprint this big.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that could be done to him alive or dead, that would be true justice.
