We also load them up with our passengers every day at the end of the A terminal in Atlanta and send them off to Seattle. The only base they are not in yet is SLC.....expect that to change soon when their new regional partner SkyWest starts SLC-SEA. Then we'll have Delta passengers flying on another airlines regional carrier.....freaking mess.

I agree. all this outsourcing makes me feel sick and it makes me feel like I am being slapped in the face by management. We need to get rid of Republic, ASAP. Our relationship with them is nothing more than Toxic.
TEN Imagine how you will feel if the AE that comes out is anything but positive. Seriously, will someone explain to me how this is ok with our contract? |

The last time I went through MSP, this airplane flew a lot of passengers out of Gate 3, from there to Seattle, Washington, with the help of Delta agents, ground crew, and Delta everything else. I've flown this route before with DC-10's and 757's. What is this?
http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/...photoak737.jpg THIS IS A SCOPE FAILURE AND OFFENDS ME JUST AS MUCH AS RAH. IMO, our scope is being eroded from ALL sides. Why is this not being addressed? They do the same thing SEA-ATL. Last I heard they were thinking about a 2nd flight. Skimming the cream so to speak. Also think PDX-HNL and SEA-OGG. This is just off the top of my head. But Network says we (Delta) can plan our schedules together as long as they are feeding international but we don't with domestic routes because that would be against the law.........yeah, right...... The previous is just my opinion, I have no proof but if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, guess what?! Denny I remember when we used to fly SEA - OGG. (DC-10/ 757's) Oh wait! I think we used to fly PDX - HNL, too. That duck is kicking our..... |

In response to the last dozen or so posts: how many of you are still willing to let ALPA be the source of our legal and negotiating "expertise" going forward?

Who determines rates for the C-series or 717 at DAL? From what I understand, Southwest is planning on operating the 717 at their current 737 rates. Assuming the same would apply at DAL.
IMO shooting for SWA rates is just a little low imo. |

Carl Looking zt historical trends yes, ALPA gets larger gains in section six that SWAPA has. ALK is ALPA, HI is ALPA. DAL has not had a section six since 2001 where ALPA obtained the largest gains of any organized pilot group. My position is ALPA must get it right to survive, but they have a good history of it outside of CH11. Some people just cannot stand to admit that we have not seen a successful section six in ten years. Nor has CAL, AMR, UAL, etc. |
