Talk about unplanned training events!

Apparently CQ bidding won't start until next month, which stinks because I could go in September when I have vacation, & now I can't stop them from putting it right against vacation.

Airbus and Boeing both gaining a major foothold? Gaining from whom?

That's like saying the Americans and Germans both gained a major foothold on D-Day.

IF 747 block hours stay consistent, couple those retirements with the 330A positions that went unfilled last bid, and we could have some nice upward movement next bid. Of course, lots of variables in play I'm sure.

Tongue in cheek? Yes! Because AMR always get DAL to do silly things.

Anyone else wish that they would have included some information in the contract comparison about our JV partner pilot groups?

Much of this will undo the MD's off the 744. Now the 330, that is a different story all together.

1) All of the foreign JV/Skyteam contracts are not in English and it is taking some time to convert them to English and then to the US dollar, and given the current debt crisis, that number is a moving target!

2) W-2's are private information, so any comparison would be speculative unless they are able to find pilots willing to disclose their W-2's for a realistic comparison.
