FWIW, there are not displacements planned on the DAL side of things. Of course there will be a realignment after SOC. But that is when all the fun starts. Right?! ;)

This info. is from a 3 letter gov. agency that has something to do with SOC. I know it's blasphemous to say something different than what mngt. says, my glass of Cool Aid is empty.

The biggest issues right now have nothing to do with Flt Ops. We have a lot of IT issues and Tech Ops issues that need to be worked out. We as Flt Operations will be ready by the end of the year.
Looks like all of the 757 NWA guys will start to get bumps in the 767 here later this year.

Geeze ACL,

Just when I thought I was getting the hang on the lingo, I hear something new. What is a "bump"? If it's like a bounce, ok.......if it's like a bugger, well maybe not:D

***...Looking at the reasons report, it looks like the computer didn't even run my bid. Anyone else like this. I got hosed for jun. 88 reserve..here I come. Please be gentle.

I really hope I wake up in the morning and there is a great line waiting on me..........

Hey, guys. I've got a pay question for you. How does the company determine the amount of paycheck advance we get from year to year. I just started second year pay, and I'm trying to get an idea if my paycheck advance at the end of the month is going to change and by how much. I can't find anything on this subject in the PWA. Any ideas?

If you try to land it like the 75, then it will be "crunch."

Super - do you get the normal DC9 program or a short course? We get 3 sims and a check ride, which is going to be fun after being displaced twice and having time on the 767, 757, 737, than back to the DC9-Stuper 88. I was going to bid the DC9 in my next displacement just to avoid the four day training deal.

It changes slightly every year.... I honestly can't tell you where to look other than the PWA. The change is somewhere $100 each year.

Beer, I felt the same way with this month's (May) results. I'm half way of the seniority in my category and got nothing that I asked for (or asked off for). And, I was only two lines above the first reserve line. What's up? Is it the new system? Haven't seen my June schedule yet. Its not up.

I think the reasons report looks like that when there are no trips at all left. Mine looked like that last month - this month at the end of the award trips section, it says "Best line before" and list a few trips that add up to 46 hours. Then it went onto the reserve section.

I will say that PBS reserve is nice - I get everyday off I ask for.
