Saw a FNWA guy sitting in the lobby of the Roosevelt in New York yesterday. He was sitting in a chair wearing his blazer and hat. Did they tell you guys you have to wear the hat all the time?

I called today to ask about 777 AE plans. Planner told me as of yesterday that they had pushed the AE back to November. They wanted to try to staff the 2 new planes with current staffing.

Hate to break it to ya, but if that's the one out by the airport, we stay there too.

Serious question, though. If I'm sitting down in the terminal waiting for my commute flight or sitting down in the terminal eating, am I supposed to wear it?

Economic activity in the United States contracted further or remained weak amid prolonged recession, the Federal Reserve said in its Beige Book report Wednesday.
Studies indicate that "overall economic activity contracted further or remained weak" although five of 12 districts surveyed noted a "moderation in the pace of decline," the report said. Several districts also "saw signs that activity in some sectors was stabilizing at a low," said the report to be used by the Federal Open Market Committee, the central bank's policy-making body, at its next meeting on April 28-29. ... Let me focus on one thing in this, some sectors are stabilizing at a low. If the airline customer demand stabilizes at a low, lets say todays demand is the max, is Delta as it stands today "right sized" for such a low for a prolonged period or will we need to cut further? |
