New DAL codeshare partner in Spain, Air Europa

Skyteam members DELTA and Air Europa has issued codeshare application to the US Department of Transportation, which both carriers plan to start codeshare operation as early as 01OCT11, subject to approval.
...Carry On

Cheers

Which would also not be on a Delta flight. It would be on an Air France A340 from DTW to CDG, no mainline DL service between the two.

This is kind of interesting if you're an airline pilot... or a quarterback:

By the way if you have to trade slots to grow, why doesn't SWA trade something we want? Like money? How about we lease slots... for a fortune. Tack on a tax on top of that, give it to lobbyist who can give it to congress.
Why dont they trade slots at Dallas Love Field? Talk about whiners when it comes to slots at an airport.

I wonder if we will still go to Valencia and Malaga thanks to that codeshare?

Nah, we'll just let them fly MAD->DTW, since we don't fly that route now. And DL will make tons of money off this codeshare because of all the "new" business we'll earn by people who connects to GRR

Looking at the codeshare flights, I'd guess MIA JFK will be served by Air Europa

Bacelona, Madrid will see Delta service.

I'd venture to guess anything ATL is safe anything else, who knows ;-)

Cheers
George
