In the past they would drop the whole trip but now I think it is on a case by case basis. I had a similar situation about two years ago and they made me fly the first day of a three day, DH home on the second day to be home for jury duty on day 3.

Good luck when the DH doesn't work out!

I think we should get a narrow body pay rate and a wide body pay rate. Use the 744 as the wide body rate and the 757 as the narrow body rate. Pilots would stop chasing planes for pay and the company would save on training costs. It makes no sense to me why the 73N pays more than the MD-88 or MD-90 when the seat count is pretty much the same.

Not to mention the fact that the 88s often do 10-12 hour, 5 leg days with a 2-3 hour sit thrown in. 0600 report, 17-1800 finish, 6 hour credit trip-ugghhh.
