Jesse,

Fwiw the average seating of the 117 M88s post mod and 40 to be MD90s is 151.8. The A319/320 is 138 and 737 is 155.6. But pay on most cases, since most of the time a 88 pilot will fly the 88 for 7.5% less than 737 and 4% off 320.

Th solution I want, equal pay between all 3 aircraft. I don't want any airplane pay brought down nor 88 pilots at most making 90 pay. Equal it.

There is a questions in the survey about pay banding. Make sure you answer it with your points about these jets.

Is it followed by "What are you willing to give up for this?":D

What I am willing to give up is my wife working 70 hrs weeks to give us an acceptable QOL.

Does anyone know if we are allowed to W/S or G/S during our vacation. I was almost positive we could not, but recently someone told me we were allowed to W/S.

I think they were yanking my chain.

Thanks
BFS

Jesse who asked you what you are willing to give up, a regular pilot or ALPA?

It was a while back on the DALPA web forum that I asked and got that response. I don't know if he was ALPA or not, just that he found a reason to justify all things ALPA. In my limited experience, the ALPA guys I've run across really disappoint me when it comes to the idea of making serious gains toward pay restoration. Over a year ago I flew with an active LEC member who was adamant that profit sharing was the way to go instead of anything greater than COLA increases. Other members who were not LEC, but who volunteered their time in other offices struck me as very, very conservative in what to expect out of this contract. I don't think this is by accident; it doesn't take a stretch of the imagination that a pervasive environment must exist in DALPA which results in its volunteers reflecting what so many of us sense. So as a guy who won't pretend to know much about the inner workings and details when it comes to scope, pay, productivity rules, etc., but considers himself open minded to what all sides have to say, I can tell you my limited experiences have left me feeling there has to be something behind the sentiment DALPA, in general, has more on its mind than DALPA Pilots. We're still the number one priority with them, but there are others right behind us. IMHO we should be the only priority: first and last.

No flying during vacation, and no sell back options. If that changes it will put guys on the street.

OK...my bad, I thought you were one of the latest round of new hires and didn't see how you could possibly have more than a couple of people falling in behind you on the integrated list, hence the base/category comments.

No worries. I should have been more clear. :)
