All except LAX - They are currently in talks with Alaska about that one. :D

I can't wait for them to saturate themselves right out of the market.

And just how are they gonna do that? They are paying $.12/gallon of kerosene, so they can tanker the round trip fuel, and not miss a beat. And since there is a US (or is it an international bank with US backing?) bank financing them, how can they possibly lose?

I would not be surprised to see a code share or JV at all. They are looking for a new partner.

That is the most depressing thing I have EVER read on this forum.... ever.

Not likely. Their pilots get paid what we do, but with no taxes. Their Capt's make about 11K a month plus free housing in the Kingdom and free healthcare. Most my friends that work their average about nine days off a month, they see every weird place on earth, and have an upgrade of about five years. Did I mention that most are trying to leave versus sign another five year contract.

Free health care? A doctor in the middle east coming at me with a really really sharp knife while I am under anesthetic no less.. all for free???? where do I sign?

Send me that sensitivity training number when you find it ACL.. not that I would ever go...

I'll go senior and hold a line on the 88 before I go back to that hunk of junk. :) Got my MD list already lined up!

Beauty must be in the eye of the beholder. I'd never go back to the 88 personally.;)

Damn you PBS bid Computer, you have bested me again...

At my seniority, I know I'm flying over the Holidays so I preemptively asked for a nice high time 4 Day that finished up on Christmas day and would just allow me to commute home and open my presents at night...and maybe enjoy a drink in front of the fire. And bless you PBS computer, you unstacked that very same trip on me.....but you weren't done by a long shot. No, you searched high and low to find that perfect low time 2 day trip to back up against the 4 day so I wouldn't have a 30 in 7 and thus allowing me to spend Christmas night in the Kew Garden's crash pad. Ah, six straight days of duty over the holidays and nothing puts you in a festive mood like eating takeout Chinese food in a highly Jewish Queens neighborhood and then sleeping in a bunk bed with 3 or 4 guys snoring nearby.

Oh, PBS bid computer, I bow down to your superior intelligence...well played sir, well played.

It is an early Festivus Miracle!

Boomer, you are THE Comair pilot most wanted at Delta.

At least by BB. Unfortunately if you get hired tomorrow, or a decade from now, you and I will still be about the same seniority and never get to fly together.
