I'll start.

I was told that the line mechanics are getting trained on Rolls Royce engines.

If this gets me banned for questioning, so be it.

But, I think this speaks to Bars point, acl. If you guys are going to direct the flow of conversation for this thread, then you are taking away what has made it such a great place for so long.

I don't see it as a right to post underboob issue either, because Bar didn't post any.

As pilots, we just don't like being surprised. That's all. We actually like rules. If there is an insubordination rule or Anit-Sedition clause, let us know.

I admit, you have every right to do it -- The First Amendment doesn't live here in APC world. It's you world and you can make it as you see fit. But, with it being your right and all, the only question is the direction you guys/gals want to take this place.

I think what IT is is that sometimes there is absolutely nothing going on at Delta, but sometimes Delta people come on this thread to talk about what's going on with them.

How much you let us discuss, is up to you.

Can anyone tell me what the minimum time PBS allows between trips or events? I'm remembering either 12 hours or 24... scanned through all my TWG pdfs and Scheduling Alerts and couldn't find it. For example, if I get in at 10:00am on Mon, what is the soonest PBS will give me another trip... and also, if it's different, what is the soonest I can pick up a white slip? Thanks!

ACL--- Thanks for answering my earlier post on what CQ training days were worth, 3:15. You do great work both as a Mod and helpful participant.

I haven't flown with anyone who wants 10, 3, 3, etc. I do educate everyone I fly with on the swa payscale (within the bounds of my understanding and based upon what I have been told by them and read myself). More often than not, my capts are very surprised at the swa compensation.

Also, while most of my A's are concerned with pay, I try to educate them on all the workrule improvements, retirement contributions, JVs codeshares, scope, training, medical, etc improvements that are equivalent to a payraise without having a big hourly pay bump. Its really about the whole package.

That's a great point New.

Let's see, nothing is going on at Delta. So, we've talked Tebow, vasectomies, what type of porn is pg-13, why dentist sucks, who is right and wrong in politics, probably some cars stuff, how Herman gets his groove on, PBS stuff, contract stuff, Merry Christmas, some SWA bashing, we wonder what life would be like if all DCI was like Boomer, and the DPA and ALPA stuff has been contained to its own thread by the posters.

I have one problem? Blue or red pill? Is this a north va south thing? I thought we were all told to take the blue pill which now tastes red... I kid.

Very good post.

ACL is trying to make this into a "soft porn" issue when Bucking Bar and other did not make those posts. He's trying to deflect criticism away from his web board superiors (and probably trying to fix things behind the scenes).

THE ISSUE is one of disrespect and poor customer service initiated by Internet Brands' employees towards the people who built this board up from nothing.

THE ISSUE is a lack of understanding or appreciation for the demographic that the L&G thread brings to APC and their parent corporation, Internet Brands. Those who bought this site don't know what they have, who their customers are, or how to leverage its' earning potential. They also fail to understand there is already a vetted alternative board over at ALPA's web site, where a coordinated effort at replacing APC can be launched informally, as well as several web boards already up and running from friends who would appreciate our business.

Super Admin Clee is encouraged to find a new opportunity to express his creativity in an environment receptive to his particular skill set.

I thought about being one of those guys that brings a guitar on the overnights. I can't play a note but chicks dig those doods and yet they never seem to ever actually play.

Actually I've been busy on a work around for the TOS/cencorship stuff:

Left parentheses, space, period, space, right parentheses, left parentheses, space, period, space, right parentheses.

That just happened.

If we ended up getting some DC-9-3000's or whatever they're called, where else would they be based?

Oh right, LGA for phase 2 of the slot swap a.k.a. Saving Private Mainline, amirite?
