Ok, so let's all complain about the deficit, then complain about trying to fix it. BTW, Delta has lot's of debt too but we all want a big raise. Sheesh!

One post and it's flamebait? Way to solidify your credibility.

Actually, I think it would be close to the same in many ways.

Except, instead of the regulations that came with the new health care law, we probably would have just given the money to the insurance companies.

Instead of people complaining that the federal government was fighting a state immigration law in Arizona, people would be complaining that the federal government was fighting the immigration law in Alabama.

Finally, I think the Bears would have won the Super Bowl last year, instead of the Packers.

No one can have everything, so it all evens out.

There's no telling. Maybe even ER in NYC. That seems to be extremely junior too.

On the other hand, many of the MSP guys may just bump over to the MD-90 category that will be growing throughout the year per the latest Crew Planning update on Deltanet. Don't worry though, we'll be hiring soon ;) (in 2017)

Politics

Gents, you've noticed a lot of flak flying over political posts.

You can discuss general politics, and policies, law, bills, problems...but don't attack a specific person, or a party.

Don't attack a political body whereby it can be implied you are referring to a specific person.

I've got strong feelings politically but I keep them off this forum. I vent with my buds (and we collectively solve most of the US' problems).

Thanks. Back to the show.

To answer your 1st question, yes it is possible as training is credit that counts toward your line value.

The answer to your 2nd question, no. Since you have training your days available in the bid period are less, therefore your required reserve days are pro-rated. There is a table in the bid packet. I have training starting the 1/15, I had to work 8 reserve days.

Just subtract your amount of training days in Feb from the amount of days in the bid period, and then find that number on the table in the bid packet. It will tell you how many reserve days you must work.

Thanks for your help!

Exactly. Some of my lefty friends accuse me of being "heartless" for wanting to chop all entitlement programs.

I tell them the federal gub'ment is not constitutionally endowed with the mission of redistributing wealth. We Americans are a generous lot. Left to our own devices, we will select charities which far outperform the gub'ment's horrific administration of tax dollars to the less fortunate.

That's where I'm headed, 7ER in NYC. Will be in the lower 90% so was just wondering out loud if I'll get pushed out of there onto the 88 in NY.
