if DCI is unprofitable then it would make sense that they must be kept on routes that are profitable.

The problem with deleting it outright is that it would not educate everyone else how insensitive comments like that are.

I just deleted the post(s) in question but then there are about 3 others that reference it so they were all left. In hindsight I think that maddogmax has a good message and they should be left.

In this instance I think a bit of education and a public apology would better fit the bill. We have all said something where we should have just put our foot in our mouth instead. I am assuming this was a lapse in judgment from Doug and he will set the record straight.

You do not see it that way, I get it, but he did. He did not ban you, he did not give a reminder or an infraction, he sent you a PM to tell you quite being disrespectful. I see that sort of thing like Pro Standards. Your madder than all get out because he called your character in to question. Great, air it to him, or report him. I highly doubt that IB will replace him because he is trying to clean up one of their assets. Many like the "under boob" and how it toys with the PG-13 line, but there are many that do not, and have quit reading this board.

I took the first part about this not being the air force as a direct insult to UALT38, and the second as an insult to all of us who generally try to moderate these threads with the idea and goal of letting the conversations lead themselves. A few edits of a few pictures and this is where it goes to. Sad state if you ask me. It is good to have a readjustment and reminders of what the bounds are. You want to force the issue of money, go for it, but my take away is that they have no issue if this thread gets locked. It is bound by the same TOS as every other thread. If anything the results of the edits and reminders will keep more people waiting to pounce on any real or perceived issue that arises on this or any other DAL thread.

Suggesting another site is just that a suggestion, but in effect it is an insult to those that post, those that read, and those that administer this web forum. This has and still is a great information tool for many pilots. Lets take a step back and realize that this thread was started so that pilots could gain information about our airline, not see nude or almost nude women. Clee did not call you out on a thread, he sent a PM, which is the preferred method of airing issues, the reply was public, and many of the mods are not pleased with where this whole thing has gone. It is my belief that many are sitting back and trying to let Johnso, 80 and I deal with it. They really are showing great restraint. I know a few would lock this in a second if they were not as professional as they are.

Was in a meeting yesterday, hiring expected late this year to early next year. Also, the company is keeping a close eye on Europe, so expect another 3% capacity cut across the pond. The plan is to grow South/Latin America as AMR retrenches. I brought out the fact that the pilots were seriously underwhelmed by the LGA expansion, and they gave the usual we need to grow the market response.

Acl is correct. Clee was simply standing up for his mods. Quite frankly, until anyone has been a mod & deals with what we do(for $0)they really have no room to bash us. We take a lot of verbal abuse mosty through PM's that other users don't see. I'll admit that in the past some mods have been a little harsh, but that is handled internally.

I'm not posting this to offend anyone, especially any of my Delta family whose company on here I truly enjoy. I also appreciate all the help I've received over the years. There is a ton of knowledge on this thread, & we always help each other out in spite of our disagreements.

I'm not trying to single you out Bar, just clarifying why you received the PM you did.
