Flamer,

I believe if you come back and earn less than 7 days vacation they will just randomly stick them on your schedule. Vacation is earned per the contract so you should not be "screwed." That said, if something does not seem right call DALPA and they will help you sort it out.

I'm surprised people take these infractions and pm's so personal. If I get banned, it's your loss. I can still read posts. You just don't get my input.

Well, my commute to DTW is over. I will soon become a member of the NYC family. I will need a crashpad for 7er reserve. Does anyone know where I can find info on NYC crashpads? I would like to set one up before my reserve sentence begins sometime in March. :D

I brought out the fact that the pilots were seriously underwhelmed by the LGA expansion, and they gave the usual we need to grow the market response.

Well no surprise on the LGA expansion comment. I wonder how hard they'll grow SA? Maybe that's why they're keeping NYC 7er the size it is even with the Atlantic pull down? To cover SA flying?

As far as the hiring goes, I'll believe it when the indoc classes start. Thanks for the info. :)

My apologies for my failed attempt at humor. Was in poor taste. Sorry guys.

Bottom line here is: Bar is absolutely correct and the super mods are wrong. It's a classic case of forgetting who the customer is. So in the spirit of trying to save the mods from themselves:

Come on mods..."admit what you did..."

Yep just like they needed to grow LGA - ORD 2 years ago with rjs? Nearly 3 million people traveled between LGA ORD LGA in 2010 making it the highest traveled market in the USA. UA and AA fly 757, 737, ms80 and a320s, but Delta flies 175s.... Still growing!

It will be a long long time, if ever, before we see any mainline of those new slots.

My sister has Down's Syndrome - while she might be not be flying a plane, curing cancer or driving a car anytime soon, she brings an insight, happiness and all around fun atmosphere to life. The smiles on their faces when a Special Olympian wins is such genuine joy and happiness - they are really giving it their all and just loving life.

Everyone makes the world a better place - in their own way.
