Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I was in Knoxville last weekend, and when I walked by the bookstore where my parents spent thousands of dollars, I stopped for a moment of reflection and thanked them.. and realized that THEY had as much or more tie to that university than did I. Those are YOUR War Eagles too :D NEvertheless.. I am a Nole fan this evening..

I have several neighbors who are very -obnoxious- Gator grads, so I only root for the Noles to pizz them off and make my wife happy. :D

How can you not have Hunt for Red October in there?

Had a FEDEX guy in the jumpseat today. He just got hired this summer but based in ANC on the MD-11. $60/hr first year pay jumps to $150/hr for 2nd-5th year. Capt got upset because a 2nd yr wide body FO gets paid more than a 14yr narrow body Capt. Plus he said the retirement numbers next year are significant and that FedEx will be hiring so all you disgruntled people(only if you're senior to me) can go apply there!

Now I am very confused. Your wife likes "The Notebook", but will let you watch football?

And people who think Rocky Top is obnoxious have never been to a FSU game.. :rolleyes:

That's cool.. You can be Sean... I like Sam Neill just as well. :D Watched the end of Dead Calm last night.. Nicole Kidman was just a.. well.. kid. He was pretty young too, but it reminded me of Bogie and Bacall.
