Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Just filled out my spreadsheet for what I can hold in each base, each aircraft. I noticed that the NCYB 320 went extremely low... I can hold 30% higher there than DTW320B, and 40% higher than MSP or SLC... and 64% higher than ATL320B!
This seems too be an anomaly... I notice that all the seniority numbers I can hold for a particular aircraft are usually within a 10% range, with NYC being lowest, then MSP, DTW, SLC, LAX, CVG, ATL, SEA (highest). However, in this new bid, NYC320B is way below everything else. Do folks think this is just people standing by to see how it shakes out and what the trips are like, then they'll bid into it? Or will NCY320B stay so junior, 30% below the next base (DTW) for a 10 year guy? Makes me almost willing to move to PA...

That's because everyone that wanted 320B apparently came to ATL. There's almost a 40% difference in my relative seniority on like category in DTW or NYC. About 30% in MSP.
woo hoo! whoa what was that? woo hoo! whoa what was that? woo hoo! whoa what was that...

And while we're at it:

Every M88B ATL reserve except one is on short call tomorrow for what reason exactly?
OK - This is an oldie but a goodie - I originally posted it last year but it is worth repeating.
Sorry for the thread creep! Sorry for the thread creep! What a preposterous statement. Thread creep to a post is like a genetic mutation to DNA - it is the vehicle that allows change, adaptation, evolution, and ultimately survival.
Could this thread have survived if it was about one topic and one topic only? Would anyone want to read a "jillion" posts on one topic - it would be like homework.
I say follow the thread wherever it takes us. Should it veer off course and take a detour not too popular amongst the regulars, say for instance a detailed discussion about the effectiveness of women’s hygiene products, it shall unerringly be brought back on course by some juicy rumor, some supposed outlandish management proclamation, or dare I say it - some Noble gesture of DALPA (think Scope).
In a world without thread creep (said in that TV announcer guys voice) we would have thread stagnation. So do not bemoan the occasional humorous diversion, the seemingly unrelated sports bravado or the much too infrequent hot college babe pictures. Roll with it.

This thread started about hiring in 2007. That didn't last long. But it's been alive and well for years except for a dark period in there somewhere near the beginning.
It's equivalent to a bar. One of the types Ferd would like. Where sometimes there are fights and other times a table where nobody is talking shop.
And then when a woman walks in, well at least a picture of one, we look a lot like the pilot waking down the concourse that stares just a little too long at the pretty girl going the other way.
It'll hit 100,000 posts at some point soon and that's before we talk openers and opinion on the TA.
