220 Flight Segments 202 or 92% Regional 18 or 8% Mainline By type: 14 MD88 (MIA, NAS, RSW) 4 B737 (DEN) E145 110 (ALB, BGR, BTV, CAE, CHO, CLE, GSO, GSP, IAD, ILM, MHT, ORF, PHL, RIC, ROA, SDF, SYR, YHZ, YOW, YUL) CRJ700 38 (BNA, BTV, CLT, MYR, PIT, RDU, ROC, STL, SYR) E170/175 30 (DFW, IAH, IND, JAX, MCI, MKE, PIT) CRJ900 22 (BUF, MKE, PIT) CPJ 2 (RIC) A couple of observations. 1. If I'm not mistaken, when SWA acquired AirTran and announced new service it was all on a 717 or 737. I didn't see the words CRJ, ERJ, E170, E175, CRJ700 or CRJ900 anywhere. Could that be because of their scope clause? 2. Remember as you read the LGA expansion to say: "Delta wants out of the RJ business" and "The LGA slot swap will increase mainline flying". 3. And remember to say- "shut up scope chickens." - DALPA pushed really hard for us to call congress to make this 92%/8% RJ growth spurt a reality. Why would DALPA do that?...Because the belief that "RJ's are good for Delta" is still alive and well among the MEC. - DALPA just got through saying: "We heard you loud and clear" with regard to our survey results. Don't you just love the way DALPA listens? Carl |

220 Flight Segments 202 or 92% Regional 18 or 8% Mainline it is: 54% E145 18% CRJ 700 10% CRJ 900 14% EMB 170/175 2% B737 6% M88 Now that's by departure, and we don't get paid by departure but by block hour. I haven't done the analysis for that, but the 1 737 leg to DEN and back sure pays more than a LGA-PHL-LGA flight. The kid is sick today, so don't know if I can get it done, but the block hour is more accurate way to compare. I'm sure that DCI will still be a high percentage than mainline tho. |
Could someone please moderate post 83547.

It's been published on a public forum. |
I think he's more worried about the Terroirst finding out where we layover...in Australia...because, after all, it is a known Terrorist haven.
;^) But I will go back and remove it...since I go there once in a while, I don't want any Terrorists waiting under my bed! |
Once they get this LGA thing up and running at full throttle, just wait for the first really big bad weather day. There will be Barbie Jets scattered all over the place. Stand by for a major CF. That should take care of any customer good will.

The terminal construction project will take about a year and $100 million. That will modernize the 1980's Eastern (USAirways) terminal and connect it to our existing Terminal D. Management couldn't have been much more ham-fisted in the way they presented this expansion to Delta employees. They sucked. The DCI "expansion" is 42 DCI slots moved from DCA, and the majority of the rest coming from JFK, then MEM. The LGA schedule includes a whole bunch of DCI RJ's replacing USAirways Express turboprops. One other thing, just because we have the new LGA slots from LCC doesn't mean we picked up their passengers. Their frequent flyers still have the option to go LCC through PHL, DCA and CLT. FWIW. |

True...but for a pack of cigarettes, they will show you their boobs! |
