Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I didn't see it mentioned, but Crew Resources posted a Feb 2012 update to their thinking. At 9 pages it goes into a lot of details.

But the best part is crew Resources responding to some of the comments to the rotation survey. It is a very good read and shows what they are thinking about each category as well as commutable trips and non-commutable trips.

Where is this 9 page document? In the new bid package, or on DL Net, or?

DLNet, Crew Resources page, in the middle, second section down. Called "Crew Resources Monthly Update February 2012"

Guess they're going to make it a monthly thing.

Your statement regarding implants is not true. My is in the middle of the implant process and it has been covered up to the yearly maximum.

Hey guys,

Thanks for asking Carl!

Mother-in-law came through the surgery and will live. Now, its the long road of physical therapy. She is coherent and talking, which is good. Not out of the woods yet but her doc said he'd never seen a stroke victim recover so quickly. Thanks for all of the prayers and kind words bros. DAL has been great and has me home now watching my kids while my wife stays with her mom up in SFO. Hopefully, I'll be back in the saddle next week.

I had implants last year with the Delta Dental plan that DAL offers. They balked when the periodontist filed the claim for the implants themselves, apparently because the office didn't file an advance estimate letter. Dentist's office absorbed most of that lost coverage but I paid 50%, which is the standard coverage for implants. The "teeth" were put on later and Delta Dental covered the standard 50%. I think the key is the advance letter BEFORE you have the work done.

My friend's Dentist said NO to that, stating it was cosmetic.
