I agree. At JetBlue when they have an irop and need extra SC guys they put out a request for RSA (reserve supplementation something) days. You bid for them and if you get one you are on SC for the day and get 4:30 pay or the greater of what you fly if they call you. If they don't call you then you still get the 4:30. Local guys make lots of $$$ with those days.
My place on the list fell 40% from January to February. Instead of being senior reserve I've fallen pretty far % wise, not necessarily number wise. Partly because they slashed 25 reserve pilots on the 88 in ATL. That never helps.
I was looking at this LOA 29 and the bucket examples it game. It showed 0-80 in the first bucket for RAW score. I know it's just an example and its category contingent, but if they used that on ATL 88 B that'd be very high considering many don't cross 80 for the whole month. Although I guess you need to count raw score in there now. That will make a difference.

The number and size of RAW buckets will be set for a given bid period and made available on the Crew Resources and Scheduling page of DeltaNet no later than the last day of the prior bid period.
Talk about not knowing what you're bidding for.
Ok bidding experts........what does pulled during shuffle mean? It was my number one choice and looks like it was still on the board, I'm confused. 65 hour line, I should have sat reserve

Catching up on a bunch of topics.
-American 757's have RR engines
-I'm a Capt and my minimum is about 40-50% over the life of the contract, plus other things like scope, scheduling, DC plan etc. How about 20-25% at DOS then about 8, 8, and 8. I'm equally concerned about scope and JV's as much as pay.
