I was in PHX last weekend. I got out of town just before the POTUS arrived. There were 27 retirees on the standby list :eek:trying to get on the flight to MSP. They all had travelnet on their Iphone & Ipads checkin to see nobody got put on out of order. I ended up riding the jumpseat.:D Must be a ***** of a commute.

No kidding!! That is why I quit going to MSP and switched to LAX, much easier.

When I was a kid, NWA ran a Whale between PHX and MSP during snow bird season. It was still a DC-10 sometimes during the day when I was a new hire. With all the old Hughes Airwest guys still commuting up to MSP, this was one ***ch of a commute......and why I stayed in Texas till most of them retired:D

I guess there is no yield here anymore, but man you could fill some seats with a widebody outta here this time of year:cool:

It may havto do with the push to "certify" your pass riders. IDK, but the window may have closed and closed them out...probably fixable with a phone call.
