Going down should be no problem, and you SHOULD be able to clear with the crew if you write you name in on the GenDec. If memory serves me right, you can handwrite your name on the form and it's okay, but you'll want to verify that. Coming back is a different story. They had no idea what a jumpseater was. The line for security after clearing the ticket counter was incredibly long and inefficient. Make sure you show up with LOTS of time (ie before the crew gets to the airport). Of course, if you already know the captain you have an advantage as he can probably grease the skids for you. Have fun. If you are adventurous, I recommend taking the bus or renting a car and heading up to Bucerias (sp?) which is about 25 minutes north of PVR on the coast. It's a small town with CHEAP beer, CHEAP tacos, and a nice quiet beach. Not sure how the recent Mexican ganglandscape has affected that area though, as it's gotten a lot worse since I was last down there. Buen viaje! Also, I will be in uniform, doesn't PVR have a seperate crew line like CUN? |

JC and company ran up a nice bill for the Comair pilots to pay. They still owe me 240 bucks. Every DL pilot I have met on the JS, in the terminal, or at the bar has treated me nicely. |
I've been trying to figure out who I should bet on in tonight's game.
It was a tough decision but then I heard one crucial data point. Clearly the deciding factor. There are five teams in the NFL that don't have cheerleaders -- the Bears, Browns, Giants, Packers and Steelers.
