Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
The ignore the differences was meant because the list and merger is done and i didnt want to rehah the sli. I just wanted or thought at some point we need to be able to look at the list and ask what it's like to be a Delta pilot in terms of longevity and bidding power. So I put both.
Yes, and to reiterate:
255 is a HARD CAP. No more jets in the 51-76 seat category.
the "3 for 1" is merely to allow a "71-76" seat jet within the 255.
IF DAL gets to 767th mainline active airframe(not orders or options), they "can" pull out 3 70 seat jets and replace them with 3 71-76 seat jets.
there is no metric that can grow large rj's over 255 for any reason whatsoever.
If we do not see at TA that continues to reduce limits on small jet outsourcing AND forces all current and future large jet "JV/codeshare agreements" into production balances, there will be a NO vote from this guy.
"Permitted aircraft types" needs to disappear altogether from Section 1 over the next few cycles.... The only persons "permitted" to fly Delta (and Skyteam in the US) painted/coded/operated flights should be pilots on the Delta Air Lines Pilot Master Seniority List.
Unity is leverage.

We as a pilot group need to see organic growth and a pay raise alone just gives you more pay for stagnation.

For those of you wondering why there is another negative-ish bid coming up, as well as little positive news from JG today... have some freaking perspective!!!
WE'RE ABOUT TO ENTER CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS. THEY WILL NOT SAY POSITIVE THINGS BECAUSE IT IS NOT IN THEIR INTERESTS.
Don't let it get to you... I swear you'd think most of the people here haven't been through a section 6 before. It is how it goes. Just roll your eyes and move on.

On a lighter, less sarcastic note looks like March bids are up.

It's amazing how senior reserve is going in March on ATL88B. I counted almost 50 pilots voluntarily bidding reserve while there's only about 20 on reserve involuntarily.
Side question:
For slip requests, is the APD a guaranteed drop for up to 3 days that can only be utilized once a year and a PD can be used multiple times but may not be approved each request?

OK.. admittedly I am too lazy to look it up, but isn't there something magical that can happen when our fleet exceeds 767 airplanes? (Not that it will in my lifetime)

Yes. For every mainline ac above that they may convert 3 70 seaters to 3 76 seaters. They may NOT increase the total number of 51-76 seaters above 255 airframes regardless of the amount of mainline planes.

Yes, 70-seat jets will be converted to 76 seats at a rate of 3 conversions to each mainline airframe over 767. If they were to merge with another airline, say Alaska, then the mainline fleet total would allow for the conversion of all 70 seat jets, plus whatever additional RJ's the merger brought to the table.

"Please ignore the NWA/DAL differences..." is kind of like hearing "The jury will disregard what was just said..."
