What I don't see are any special LEC meetings with recalls on the agenda. All I see is business as usual.

Yawn. Just what they want. If you are arguing amongst yourselves here, you aren't picking up the phone to your rep or organizing a group to really do anything about it.

You guys remind me of the cats you all seem to hate so much. Try to look all bad-ass by puffing up and yowling, but easily distracted by a shiny bauble and then begging for a pet.

Weak sauce.

Yeah, let's recall everybody the month we go into negotiations with the company. Makes perfect sense.

LOL, that's rich. you ought to talk to my reps or SM and RD, and see if they agree with you ;-)

Information is key to forming opinions based on facts. If there is a lack of information coming from official channels, or disinformation coming from company officials, then the antidote is to provide a counterpoint based in facts. If that doesn't sit well with you, then that's your own problem...

Lack of access to information has always been the Achilles heel of the established power brokers across the centuries. This negotiating environment will be very different because of that, and that's a positive for us. Lots of valuable insight on this forum and plenty of fluff, the reader decides what is important, what isn't. Now quit whining about others and provide your own contributions!

Cheers
George

With all those cuts, do we still actually fly to anywhere across the Atlantic besides AMS?

I know the OE recovery are back to the old way...ie no obligations. My questions is when do they "Have" to notify you that your trip has been taken for training?
I've been waiting patiently for 3 weeks to be notified and now I'm inside of 24hrs prior to show time and no call. Scheduling clerk says they run those at 7pm and doesn't know of a minimum time to notify (this will be inside of 12hrs in my case). If this is true what a crock....
If I was a commuter and had to come in then get notified and have to spend the night etc I'd be ****ed. In my case I'd like to put in a slip to get some much needed coin for my low/slow month and upcoming vaca, but I can't put a slip in until they show the trip dropped.
I'm grateful for getting back to the old way of doing things, but it sure would be nice to be notified 24 or at least 16hrs prior to duty in.

Do we know that for sure?I hope I am wrong, but reading the protocol document under scope it talks about pax and combo pax/freight acft.It doesn't specifically mention cargo only acft.Hope I missed something reading it.

You assume that you need to recall everyone.

Say you got a bus that has 10 drivers and it's heading for a cliff. You have 6 guys who don't want to see the road ends in a cliff, and 4 that do. The 6 don't want to look at the road or even talk about it, because they all say "I'm an excellent driver".

The best solution is change out 2 of the drivers, not all 6. And you certainly don't try to move everyone to another bus while your moving, like what the DPA is trying to do.
