Doesn't mean that he/she is correct. Just more rhetoric.

Just showed this on Good Morning America. Robin Roberts just stated, " Look at this Jumbo Jet trying to land at this airport.".

See, even the MD demands super premium wide body pay as she does the same work.

that's already been discussed. Doesn't matter if the 717 leases are paid for by cash or by other assets, including delivery slots that are owned by Delta.
I would like to see the section 1 to know what is triggered.

btw, what thread is this from Capn?

I bet you're right.

And I bet a "sublease" is a nonstarter.

In the extremely, extremely unlikely event even a few pilots come with the planes, and there is no way a single one should, 99 year fences at a minimum is mandatory. Not to mention if that guy thinks 88 out of 700 planes over what would very likely be several years would trigger the fragmentation in this or even a previous contract, he's huffing some serious modeling glue.

So the AT scope was so weak that SWA could have operated the entire airline separtely and phased every one of them out pretty quickly, but the AT scope is so strong that their pilots own the seats to specific planes even if those planes are replaced completely with other planes?

Great post.

How many 737s is SWA getting again? I think it counted in the hundreds, right?

Also, as 717s exit FL wouldn't those pilots go to LUV to be integrated/indoc into SWA? Such that they're never without an airplane before they're SWA pilots? It's not like 88 airplanes disappear and pilots are suddenly without work.

United just posted a $448M loss for 2012Q1.

United Continental's Loss Widens - WSJ.com

$134M was due to integration-related costs. Revenue was $8.6B.

I'm not a West Coast commuter, but I'm on board with anything that gets me based west of NYC. That's not too much to ask is it?

You mean the "please allow more state of the art extra large super comfy nextgen RJ's" cause? Cause I bet that's all management learned, if anything, from that.
