I understand taking the high ground, and posters should use discretion, but no reason to close a thread....
When someone had pictures that only "friends" can see and they post that picture, and said person has a serious issue with it, we have an issue. Point is do not post pictures that are not on a public site. Pictures of co-workers that are behind a mask of "friendship" do not qualify in my book nor hers. Point is, don't do it. Warning stands, we do not need to increase visibility or liability of any pilots that are on this thread.

The picture in question was self edited, but the quotes were not. Be smart, we are less than a month away from openers, no one needs to invite anything on themselves. If limiting the damage means closing a thread, I will do it. The issue is resolved, but make sure that we do not have this sort of issue again. As long as we don't there is nothing to worry about. It is more about pilot liability than APC liability.

Got ya. Its just interesting that we get one of the "bridge to nowhere" deals back on the eve of section 6 with everyone trying to figure out what our guys are thinking we're thinking and where they plan on going from present position.

There is more than enough "restoration" (or to be fair just profitable LCC parity) in pay, scope and equitable work rules like across the board trip/duty rigs, min day, sick and especially vacation time improvements, reserve rules and most importnatly scope for us to be spending one second of "negotiating capital" on the triple dip featherbedding stuff. That is, unless we are on the verge of getting it *all* back.

Someone with a lizard on their avatar posted a picture that he lifted off his FAs Facebook page. She was wearing a swimsuit and wasn't too hard on the eyes.

Then Bar pointed out an "oddity" on the picture and ruined the mood.

Then ACL did some detective work and shut down the shenannigans, but not before Clamp figured out who she was and stalker-bid the month of April with her.

And the rest you can figure out reading the last three pages.

very peculiar timing for one or more mods to bring up the topic, unsolicited, on this thread.
Nope, no idea. Period. In fact a non-mod brought up EK and the opportunities overseas. I had a discussion with him on it that took place on this thread.

No detective work need, I was contacted directly. Leave it at that, and let it go.

Yes, it should have its perks, and smaller buckets would still provide plenty of that. Perks are good, but running roughshod over your fellow pilots so you can sit home all month is more than a perk--it's an abusive system.

I don't remember the exact numbers but a 777 CA generated about 3 and a half times the total revenue of a 737 CA when you factored in the airfares and cargo. They had all the numbers available for each aircraft and they were eye watering on the difference in revenue generation between airframes.
Gee, with those kind of numbers I am glad we have a lot of 777's, oh wait!! How do you guys get the quotes inside those cute little boxes?

It has been interesting how the flying some days seems diluted and spread out and others it's the price of juniority or whatever you want to call it. I'm sure like any concession made to a pilot there's a bean counter attached to it and if the company's nice guy act starts to not look good to them, they will find a way for us all to see 40 credit hours a month.

That said. The first bucket should stop at 60. =)
