OK, so we're just working on a slightly different version of the same rumor (20% + COLA + 76-seaters and production balances, instead of 11%/11% + 76-seaters and production balnaces )? Is that what we're doing?
You know what these threads demonstrate? That we're [deleted] impatient. That's what they show. If you want to show resolve, don't scream like a girl that you'll vote every rumor down. Save it for the T/A. Wake me up when there is one. |

They know the pot is simmering within our ranks and we want to see a better deal and growth. It ain't brain surgery. |
Neither is waiting for the pitcher to actually throw before you swing.

Exactly. We need to have outside the box thinking in this group to see where the airline is headed, and this is exactly the type of thinking and maneuvering I see DAL doing.
AMR assets are important, but so if feed to those assets. From a corporate perspective VA would be critical in that. So would JAL and beyond access in HND. The ball is rolling guys, we need to see over two or three hills down the road. |

I'm with ya. Don't think this is the management to buy things at their high. They are looking at angles all over. Depressed assets like refineries and used airplanes...I think these guys definitely understand buy low philosophy...then get the value high by creating some unique circumstances. So anything not in favor could be a potential target. I've definitely made some money not following the herd with investing. Im glad they are this way but we would be foolish to think we weren't being herded...at least a little:) I think they deserve a little credit there. I expect nothing less from good management.

SIA owns 49% of Virgin. If I read the contract correctly, that is just at the threshold........
A company like virgin could issue a few more shares of common stock to dilute the 49% state by a few thousandths of a percentage point!! Just sayin..... |
