Great seeing you.... It would be great to sit down over a cold one with you, Bucking Bar, George, Buzzpat, Sailing, 80, Hoserpilot, WastchPhantom, FTB, throw in Carl and Tsquare at opposite ends of the table and numerous others...... All of you, regardless of your position make our pilot group healthier and more informed. I really appreciate what everyone brings to the table. It's a big tent! For what ever reason, the debate here seems so much better than over at that other place. If fact, don't even remember last time I stepped in the door.

For the guy at the LEC meeting yesterday that hadn't heard of the Geared Turbofan engine (GTF), please pick up a old Aviation Week every now and then.....

My take on that comment was; Its a jet engine, what's the big deal. Well, the room told him.

I also would love to see a current generation limitation on DCI. A sunset if you will.

TC

We had one of those last month.

The debate here for the most part is intelligent. That is the reason for its success.

A tail numbered limit with a sunset expiration would be great.

Very true. That works as well. I suspect that it would have to be a serial number limitation since those things tend to change tail numbers, and sometimes even within the same airline.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Sort of like the Avro/Bachjet sunset at ASA or what UAL did with AW's Avros once upon a time.
