At the time it didn't really help but later it was nice to know. By the way, my new-hire class of 25 had at least 6 re-interviews so it's definitely not uncommon to be successful the second time around.
Anyone else having difficulty with the yellow fever vaccination? After calling a dozen places from the CDC website I still could only get 1 appointment 3 weeks out.
Also NOT covered at all by insurance. 100% out of pocket...about $350.

I think we're the only major airline that requires new hires get and pay for a yellow fever vaccine.
When I read the new hire paperwork, I thought it was something that would be covered in training. But the new emails obviously said differently. They want the proof by day 1. It’s really fine just didn’t realize it would be this hard to get an appointment.

I got mine at Passport Health. There are 5 different locations around the Atlanta area if you are local or can come down early before Indoc. I’ve heard from others that Walgreens was able to order it for them at their local store but it took some lead-time.
