Default Multiple internal recs

Does anyone have detailed info on the internal rec system? I understand that an internal rec gets your app pulled and graded, and that can be done once a year. However, what if you have a second employee willing to submit an internal rec 6 months after the first internal rec was given. Is that possible? or is it just one. debating on waiting until after I upgrade at current airline.

First of all, it’s one a year. Multiple will not help.

There are two things. An internal recommendation on airline apps you can have as many as you want. A pilot can get your app pulled via an e-mail to pilot selection (not a letter of rec) once a year. They can do as many as they want, you are limited to once a year. The same pilot can do it again or a different pilot, but once a year regardless.

I believe that when most people ask about “internal” they are referring to emailing pilot hiring direct. The airline apps rec is just a rec.

I generally think you are right, I just want to make it clear that they should both be done because whatever goes to pilot selection only gets the app scored, the rec in airline apps is the part where it can affect the score.

Yes absolutely. Thats correct, I just wasn't sure if there was a "loophole" or another way to get your app scored more than once in a year IF you had multiple internal recs. Thanks for the quick reply

No loophole. Doesn't mean one never slips though the cracks, but the 1 review per year has been policy for at least 5 years.

Greetings all, new here and hoping for some help in best guesses on a timeline between submitting an application and hearing back for follow-up/interview etc. I know DAL is looking to hire a bunch of pilots per month for 2020, just curious what the average current estimated wait-time is. Applied 6 Jan 2020. Appreciate the help.

I personally know a couple of friends that got invite 48-72 hours after submittied. I also personally know two folks that are still waiting to hear something and they submitted about 6 months ago.

YMMV. Good luck!

Hi guys, is a chance of getting hired without a bachelor's degree? Is jet 1,000 PIC enough? What other qualifications other than military help? My debate is whether I should invest 40k in a degree to be more qualified or if it's possible to get in without one.
